I Can’t Believe I’m Sharing This ….
I was asked on SCS if I had pictures of how I label my sponges, and … you guessed it. I’m sharing it here just for good measure. 😉 In truth, I’m just grabbing one tissue after another & another, and have been even while we were on vacation. It’s just not better, so I’m really just taking it easy here. (It’s okay … you’re allowed to roll your eyes. I’ll understand completely.) And the sponges? Since I teach stamping, I often have more than one sponge out. I’ve found that my stampers rarely mix up which sponge goes on which ink pad, since I name the color for my sponges with a Sharpie marker. The containers are from Hobby Lobby …. and were either $1 or $1.99 each. There’s room for the matching dauber in each area, and room on the sides for extra sponges, In Colors, etc. They stack up just great in my cabinet! So, here’s a peek! Hey sweet TexMama. I never would have thought about writing the names of the colors right on the sponges, but wow! Great idea.
Thanks for a great idea. I haven’t used sponges like those in my crafting, but I do like to reuse the foam squares for Tim Holtz’ distressing tool. A craft box like that would be much easier than the snack size Ziploc baggies I’m using now.

OK Bev, I thought I was the only OCD person that did this! I also have a sponge dauber in each slot and have one for all the SU! colors and my distress inks. Whew! I am normal after all!
I have to say, it is a great idea. I am not this organized with my sponge. But it would be lonely in its own container.
