At the Cross, At the Cross …
I can hardly decide how to introduce this new & upcoming stamp set, “The Cross of Christ”. This is the first stamp design by Dina Kowal (MamaDini) for “Our Daily Bread Designs“. Dina has turned the cross she created for our watermarks, into 3 sizes for her first official stamp set! I knew the first time I saw this cross on the watermarks, that I loved the image. And now, I seem to “hear” a very old hymn, “At the Cross” when I look at it. (I’m often playing CD’s when I stamp.)
The special paper I’ve used for the setting is from ‘True Faith’, “Words Black Vellum”, found at the Our Daily Bread Designs website, along with Prism Papers. I’ve kept the embellishments to a minimum, due to the impact of the True Faith paper and the embossed Cross. The hat pin & beads are from my Paper Pretties kit by SU. You’ll find this beautiful new set on July 15 at Our Daily Bread Designs! I hope you enjoy it!

Bev, this is a beautiful card! The new stamp is wonderful embossed and it looks great with the paper you chose. The scalloped rectangles are perfect too.
Lovely card Bev! You already know that my favorite element is the heat pin with pearls. I am a girl who loves pearls much more than diamonds 😛

I love everything about you. I’ve never met you, but I can feel your warmth and fun-loving personality by looking at your cards and reading some of your comments and “chattings” on scs. Oh, and this card is an “ooohhh” and “aaahhh” card. Very, very impressive!
