Our Record-Setting Texas Snow!

Published by at 11:35 pm under About,Cool Stuff!,Other Than Cards,Video

That’s right!   It was snowing as early as 4 a.m. here (did a window check!), and it’s still snowing now after 11:00 p.m., with more to fall through the night.    Now for my Northern friends, I know …. so what?!    LOL  ..  But for us … It just doesn’t happen.    At 10:00 it was 9.4 inches at DFW (just South of me), setting the all-time record of 111 years.  (N. TX hasn’t kept records past that.)    So, I had to break out the little video camera from DD …  Until today, it has happily provided cute videos of the little loves in my life.  But today, I had to get it out so I could learn about uploading videos for future techniques here at Savor the Journey.  Perfect day for a trial!   And thanks to my darlin’ friend, Jenn … I think it’s gonna work!!   {{{{Jenn}}}!

Yes …. I’ve already heard that’s ‘snow’?”   LOL   And, yes, this is in N. Texas!     Breaking our record here .. although I know that family in Michigan and friends all over the North & beyond are beside themselves with giggles over our comparitively bitty snow.   So here we go!   First up is the shot from the front porch, to be followed by views from the back yard!  Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!   It’s going to be icy-dicey here in the morning …. and I’m planning to go no further than the mailbox out front!

Stay warm, my friends!  Bundle up, and thanks a bunch for stopping by!

Looks like everyone is getting snow! Here in the Baltimore area, we’ve had 3 blizzards this winter…2 just this week! We got 31″ over the weekend and then another 24″ Tuesday into Wednesday…and more to come on Monday night! I’m SO done with snow and I’m ready for spring!

    Enjoy your snow!

Absolutely gorgeous, Bev! I hope you and the grands are enjoying it! And thanks so much for sending it our way! We got about 5 inches yesterday and last night. Thankfully, it will be in the 40’s today and melting the snow!
