… Spread It Around … OCLDT34 * HYCCT05

Published by at 11:42 pm under Our Craft Lounge,SCS Challenges

No worry … the title is explained within today’s card …  you’ll see.    😉

Hey, hey!  This card includes two challenges!  I’m generally a one-challenge gal … don’t know why, but as I look at my previous entries, that’s simply how it seems.

Oh well!   This time I started out with the always-inspiring Friday sketch challenge from Our Craft Lounge, OCLDT34.   You’ll find it linked in the colored text … and we would love to have you join in the fun!   And, the twine is a part of the Hope You Can Cling To challenge, HYCCT05 challenge at SCS!  Yes  … I do keep a stash of honest-to-goodness twine in a Mason jar …. a little piece of “back when”.

The “Harvest Blessings” stamp set makes it so easy to create an interior for your card .. the completion of the sentiment and a smaller image are just right … nothing complicated.   Leave some writing space and you’re ready to go!  (Click on the photo for a little larger view.)

Welcome to the brand new week of Fall, 2010, everyone!   It’s a blessing to get a little bit of a cool-down here … not too much so far …. basically juuussssst right!   Here’s to a just right week for you as well!  Thanks for your visit!

What an adorable tractor Bev…I hate to tell you this but according to my DH, green is the only color for a tractor…he’s a Deere man ya know…LOL!!!! But then….what does he know…red is much purtier!!!! Love how you added the twine, too….sooo awesome!!!

Great coloring, love the hardware, and that honest-to-goodness twine is the perfect touch. Beautiful inside and out, Bev!

Oh my gosh this is such a perfect card. A short chunk of twine like that has been in my ribbon box tempting me to junk it, because my cards are always too formal for twine. But seeing how you used it inspires me to pair it with some gingham ribbon and go for less-formal. The tractor stamp is now in my future, too!
    GREAT job!
