You are the Greatest … * OCLDT47
Welcome back, stampy friends! Every Friday, Our Craft Lounge gives us a challenge. The new twist for 2011 is that each Friday will bring an “new” challenge type. The challenge presented on January 7 (OCLDT47) is a color challenge of “black + red + kraft“.
My January schedule includes two stamp shows here in N. Texas, along with long-awaited guests & friends in the stamping industry. When the OCLDT47 challenge was posted on Friday, I was welcoming two fabby stampy friends: Jeanne S (my OCLDT & SCS Mod colleague) and Lydia (Understandblue = SCS) . Well of course … NO early stamping ‘here’ that day at all … but rather, picture me with a last-minute vaccuum cleaner & dust cloth in hand. haha

My shaped card base is from the Tim Holtz Alterations die – Baroque. Tex Report: This die cuts through multiple C/S layers like butter, just like my other Tim H./Sizzix dies. The card base was dry embossed with a Tim H. embossing folder. I’ve used layers of Spellbinders dies for the remainder of the external & internal layers. (Just click the left image for a larger view of the inside.)
With this color challenge, I found it to be enabling for a masculine approach. Hmmmmm … maybe I should save this one for a February 14 delivery? We’ll see. 😉
