Color Challenge with Touch Twin Markers! * TTC08

Hi there, stampy friends!   We’re having a Touch Twin markers color challenge, TTC08, and you are invited to play along!

 

This color challenge will run from December 26th – January 14th with a winner being announced on January 14th.
One person will be randomly chosen among

12 Touch Twin markers!!!
COLOR CHALLENGE COLORS:
R2 (Old Red)          Y41  (Olive Green)          Y42  (Bronze Green)          Y34  (Yellow)
MORE DETAILS:  Don’t have any Touch Twin markers?   That’s OK too… for now.    Starting in January (our next challenge) we will require using our markers, but for now you can use any coloring medium.  Please use similar colors for your challenge entry. 😉

Above is the front view of my card.  I punched a circle from the Cryogen White top layer, along with a matching circle from the Always Artichoke layer.  This created the opening to view the sentiment on the interior of the card.  The circle punch is slightly smaller than the sentiment stamp.  Next, I stamped the sentiment (ornament) on the interior layer of Cryogen White cardstock, as shown in the following photo of the inside of the card:

The sentiment is from the “Sentiments4You” stamp set, while the ornament topper, hanging string, and lights are all stamps from the “Holly4Christmas” stamp set.  Both stamp sets are from this month’s Twin Touch challenge sponsor,  The Stamps of Life!

These are the Shinhan Touch Twin brush markers I’ve used for the project above.   I added just a couple to the challenge color requirements for shading/blending on the lights and ornament topper.  You can click the image for a larger view if you like.

This color map shows where the markers were used.  As you can see, I simply used the added R13 and Y38 for highlighting/blending.  Again, click the image to enlarge if you like.

    Wow Miss Bev! Love your Festive Thank you card! And your coloring on the christmas lights make them look like they are lit up bright and glowing! Wow, just Fabulous Lady!
