Bloomin’ Spring!

Well, I “wish” it was literally bloomin’ Spring here … but I might be shoving the edge a bit in Mother Nature’s opinion.   I can’t help it!  Every winter “needs” a look >>>forward sometimes!   😉

Ever since my weekend at the Stamp Scrap Art Tour with Inky Antics and Darcie’s, I’ve been wanting to play with some of my Inky Antics stamps.   Then, the FS313 challenge popped up over at Splitcoaststampers, featuring my long-time stampy-cyber-friend, Janette Olen.  Well … that settled it.  I was destined to play along in that one for sure.   Then I spotted Oozak’s Challenge #11 ‘Anything Goes & use your favorite colors.   Easy!  Pinks & Greens, of course!  Finally, I’m entering this one in the Repeat Impressions blog DCC130 ~ Bright Colors & Vibrant Print challenge.  Seriously … I’m not sure I’ve ever combined 3 challenges before … But it was fun!  Whew! And here’s the result:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh …. the thought of Spring to freshen the chill of winter.   I needed that!   My workout buddy needs it too, as she has already been weeding her wintering flower beds, in anxious anticipation of planting still more than a month away.  Makes me wonder if the need for rejuvenating color is just a ‘girl thing’.   Hmmmmm …

Just a bit of dimension has been added with flitting butterflies, and a bit of 3-D dots beneath the image panel.  I’m still sitting on my hands a bit with the thought of glitter … but I’m stickin’ to the idea that I’ll keep the glitz to the bitty rhinestones on the butterflies.  {Who knew this playing ‘tuff’ could be so tricky!}

Time to move away from the laptop now … as I’ve got to rev up the teapot again.   Y’all have a great day out there.   I appreciate your visit!
