Season of Joy ~ Color Me River & Olive
Here’s a simple card that features just one stamp set, ‘Season of Joy’ by Stampin’ Up! One of my very favorite new colors this year from Stampin’ Up! is ‘River Rock’ from the 2007-08 In Color collection. It wasn’t the color I expected it to be … but it’s far better! Darker colors seem to really jump in contrast .. so I chose it for this upcoming shoebox card design. Tex’s Tip: Use your anywhere hole punch to put a hole behind the main image. Pull your ribbon up through that hole, tie to the side, and cover the opening with the main image, adhered with SU Dimensional foam adhesives.
As a step-up variation for this card, I will likely add just a touch of glitz to the tree if I send any of these out on a personal basis. Hope you enjoy it!

Well there you go…..I just placed my SU order yesterday. I almost ordered this set…and decided not to (I ended up ordering Baby Jesus Is Born instead). Now you’re making me wish I’d ordered both. I know there’s still lots of time, though. *wink*
