Hey Chick! What’s Happening?

Chicken Happening 640

This was one of my first Inky Antics stamps … and it’s still a favorite.  She’s quick to color, and I love the little ‘sassy’ look she seems to have.   Distressing the paper edges on some of the layers helped to create the look I had in mind.

The chicken tracks were stamped with bleach!  Tex’s Tip: Depending on the dyes used in your paper, results with bleach stamping will vary in color.  So test stamp your image on a scrap piece of cardstock first to see if you like the resulting color.  And clean your stamp off immediately when finished with the image.    The little bit of contrasting ribbon is attached with a “Loopy Brad” by Karen Foster

Hey!  What’s happening?!  You can now find Inky Antics stamps at eclectic Paperie!   Also,  you’ll find a gallery and familiar forums (message board) to enjoy at Inky Antics!  Check it out for more stamping fun!

Tex, I am loving all your cards! I think I need to get this little chick. I have some loopy brads, but didn’t really know how to use them. This is a great idea for them!

Nice card, but I can only colour like a preschool child, so my stamps have to be beautiful just as they are.
