A Bug’s Thanks!
Here’s a cute little bug stamp from Inky Antics, taken out of her typical Spring/Summer uses and jumping into a touch of Fall! The image was stamped with Palette Noir ink and colored with Copic markers. Nestabilities oval dies were used to create the smooth and scalloped layers. I love those dies …. One of the sweet features is that it’s very easy to cut the shape precisely where you want it. I purchase my Nestabilities dies and accessories at Ellen Hutson, LLC.
I had a lot of fun adding extras to this buggy girl. Her wings are covered with Martha Stewart glitter. A Sakura Stardust pen provides the right touch on her antennae, and Sakura Glaze creates the dots on her shoes and on the scallops.
The background daisies and the “Thank You” sentiment are also by Inky Antics. Oh, for Heaven’s sake! This is just too darn cute! I’ve been struggling to make myself use some Fall images but it’s just not happening. This works perfectly for the Fall look. Gosh, there’s more than just leaves and pumpkins around this time of year. I think I’ve seen the occasional bee, too. I just love it, Bev! You added so many special touches and took it right over the top!
