Thankful Blog Candy Morsels!

Published by at 3:38 pm under Bits & Thoughts,Hanna Stamps

Thanksgiving is such a special time!  Even if you aren’t in the U.S.A., it’s a wonderful time to reflect and to consider those blessings for which you are thankful.

Hanna Stamps is celebrating in fine fashion this Thanksgiving season, and Kristi is offering a totally free, as yet unreleased stamp set through each of the design team members!  Puddles of Love 300Here’s a “sneak peek” of the upcoming “Things Hanna Would Say” sentiment set.  You’ll find 28 sentiments, all appropriate for use with the various Hanna sets!    How fun is that?!  Here’s a peek at just one of those sentiments you’ll receive.  This particular phrase will add so much fun & possiblities to the “Rainy Day” set!

For me, Thanksgiving is my favorite of all the holidays.  My son was actually born on Thanksgiving morning!  My husband & I left pumpkin pies sitting atop the stove to go to the hospital in labor, as we were expected at my Uncle Woody’s home for dinner that day.  (No long drive allowed to go home that year.)  When we all came home, after 3 days in the hospital … those pies were still sitting there!  LOL  DH was such a proud & thrilled new daddy that he totally forgot about them.  Still makes me laugh.    My favorite food is the turkey .. and the home-made noodles.

Now .. how can you get a chance for one of the free “Things Hanna Would Say” sets?   Here’s the fine print:

* 1 comment allowed per person, please.

* Tell about your favorite food or tradition of Thanksgiving.

* The winner will be selected via random.org on Sunday.  Please post in the winner’s thread within 24 hours (Monday).   I will need your mailing address in order to have the prize sent.  If the first winner drawn does not respond, the process will be repeated and posted.

* Kristi Ferro will send the winning set directly to the winner from her office.   No matter where you are … this set can come to you!  You need not be in the USA to enter!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!  Good luck on winning this never-before-seen Hanna Stamps set!

When he was growing up all our international University friends (I was a prof) would come over and we’d eat, drink and be merry for the entire day! This is our first year in our brand new home, and I’m making up new traditions as I go along. We have had a fantastic meal every day this week – ones that I like, instead of ones everyone else likes. Of course today is Turkey (which I don’t care for), but I have rib roast leftovers so I’m very happy with this new tradition! LOL
