Oh My! Tagged in Texas!

Published by at 1:19 am under Bits & Thoughts

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, yes I’ve been tagged by my blogging friend, Meda!  I’m so tickled to have “met” her online this year!  Meda creates beautiful invitations from her home in Romania!  Be sure to check out her wonderful work at “Handmade by Meda“, as well as Meda’s Webshots !

The rules of the game:

  • Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
  • Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog, we all want to know them.
  • Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
  • Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 things about me:

  1. I love to be barefoot.  If you drop in without calling, that’s how you’ll catch me!
  2. After a lifetime of being addicted to sweets, I am no longer a sweets-aholic!  Yay!
  3. I plan to try a totally new “do” next week with my hair stylist!  eeeek!   (Please wish me the continued courage to DO it.)
  4. No one knows this until now … no one!  One of my dreams is to someday sing at church with my daugher, Jessica.  She and her hubby sing regularly at their church … and both my DH and I are very proud of them!
  5. One of my favorite memories is of para-sailing with my daughter, Jessica.  I would do it again in a heartbeat!
  6. The friends I’ve made through rubber stamping are unbelievably important and special to me.  What a fabulous blessing & gift to my heart!
  7. I love, love, love the ocean!  Oh how I would enjoy playing & shelling & boogie-boarding in the ocean again in 2008!  Surprise!

Tagged persons
This is really the tricky part of being tagged.  I might elect to do as my blogging friend Meda has done, and choose from bloggers who visit my blog.  *wink*

  1. Britta Ward  **  I just love Britta’s style, and even more-so … I adore her fabulous wit & spirit!  You just can’t help but have a wonderful time in her presence!
  2. Otter‘ **  Jennifer & I have been cyber-friends for a few years, and have known each other in person for more than 2 years now.  She’s a wonderful scrapper & stamper, a mother of darling little ones, a nurse, and an incredibly quick study this year using the Copic markers!  Way to go, Otter!
  3. Heather P.   **   Ohhh, you’re going to enjoy Heather’s creations!  What a wonderful stamper she is!   I need to go visit her blog again myself!   Great creations, Heather!
  4. Kristi Ferro  **  You might recognize her name!  Kristi is the owner of “Hanna Stamps”!  She’s also an uber-talented stamper in her own right, and I was blessed to be invited to join her design team this year.  Check out her new website, her blog, and her delightful goodies for sale at Hanna Stamps!
  5. Frances Byrne  **  I’m so honored to be on the Hanna Stamps design team with Frances, a.k.a. Stamp Owl!  Check out her wonderful and so unique creations from ‘down under’ at her blog.  You’ll see what I mean!
  6. Vicki Garrett  **  Here’s a talent that you’re going to be thrilled to see!  Vicki is another faboo member of the Hanna Stamps design team.  Her creations are so very unique, so absolutely fun, and incredibly delightful!  Enjoy taking a long browse through her creations!
  7. Sharon Harnist  **  Ahhhhh, my sweet & oh-so-talented friend, Sharon!  I had the privilege of meeting Sharon at SU Regionals at San Antonio, TX, in February, 2005.  I still have her shoebox swap from our SCS gathering that weekend!  I can’t explain just why, but it really feels like I’ve known Sharon for a much longer time.  I love her to pieces, and if you don’t already recognize her, you will just as soon as you check out her fabulous blog!  Thank you, Sharon!
  8. Shannon Tompkins  **  Oh my goodness!  Just wait until you’ve stopped by to visit Shannon’s blog!  She’s such a talented stamper with a delightful perspective on stamping!  (Shhhhh!  She’s a newlywed too!)  I’m thrilled to be on the Hanna team with Shannon.  You’ll understand just why as soon as you visit her blog!
