The Celebration Begins!

Published by at 1:49 am under Bits & Thoughts

Hello everyone!

While I have not been stamping new items this week, I have been prepping for our family Christmas celebration to be held later today, Sunday.  This year we’re having our family dinner & exchange here on Sunday, then celebrating Christmas Eve with a service at Church, followed by food & white elephant fun at my daughter’s home with her husband’s family as well.  This is always a fun gathering, and our white elephant exchange is always good for lots of laughs, even after the evening is a memory.  I especially enjoy it when my son-in-law plays his guitar for a few traditional Christmas carols.   I love the tradition that it sets for our little guys, and the endearment it brings to each of us.  On Christmas day, we’ll have a smaller version of celebration again with our son and his family.  It will give us another day to enjoy our children and grandson, James.  After Tuesday, I’m already yearning to put ink to paper… so I plan to post something visual by Wednesday!   I haven’t a clue what it will be, but I’ll just wait & surprise myself, I guess!

I wish each of you a Merry Christmas! While I know that it isn’t possible for us to be with all of our loved ones at this precious time of year, I do hope that you are blessed during this Christmas season.   It has been my privilege to share with you during 2007, and to have met some of you and/or exchanged greetings.  I look forward to even more of the same during 2008!

 Inky ((((Hugs))))

    Hi Bev,

I’m not the word type of person, so no sophisticated greeting from me, but I want you to know you are in my thoughts and I am very grateful to have met you this year.
