Got Gas?? * HSC6 & SC165
Here’s my HSC6 Challenge card for this week! Each Friday there is a challenge posted in the Hanna Stamps forum at SCS. Todays challenge requires the card be made with Blush Blossom, Choco Chip, and Ruby Red. The sketch is from this weeks SC165 challenge. I couldn’t resist playing off the formerly popular advertising phrase for this one. I needed a sentiment and once I thought of the old “Got Milk?” campaign, and couldn’t budge the idea. Those words were printed on the cardstock using ‘Word Art’, found in Word for Windows. After being coloredwith Prismacolors & Gamsol, the gas pump and gasoline can were glossed with Diamond Glaze for slick, shiny appearance. The pressure embossed larger background is a variety of numerals, which I felt was appropriate considering the constant change in gasoline prices!!

I used to work for a co. that made and installed the underground pumping things (tech term! lol), I used to drive the forklift and load and unload the semi-trucks! (you woulda never thought that, eh? lol)
I may have to go get these stamps- funny how it brought those memories to mind!!!
