Inky Friends * Autographs
Do you remember the excitement when stampers began to discover the “Rubicoil”? Well, even though that was a couple of years ago (or more), I still enjoy creating special non-card items with it. I’m not sure that I will ever use up the supply of coils that I have, but not to worry. There’s always a reason to make a specially bound gift for a friend, for an occasion, or even for unexpected little gifts or prizes. This project was created as a place to collect autographs and photos of friends through Inky Antics. I gave this one away some time ago, but I still enjoy this little chicken stamp as well as the backgrounds and the easy-to-position clear alphabet. Maybe I’ll make one for myself eventually … but I guess I’ll get to that on another day. (Shades of Scarlett O’Hara! I even live on red clay soil!) *wink* Thanks so much for stopping by!
Recipe: STAMPS–>> Daisy Background, Speckled Background, Standing Chick, Stacy Serif Alphabet (all Inky Antics). This is so cute, Bev!! I love that adorable chick, and your colors!! The twine is perfect for it as well! (I just ordered the BIA from EP, so I hope to make more of these kinds of projects too).
How adorable is this !! You know it could just be used for autograph’s and pictures of all of my stamping friends !! LOL !!
This is very sweet!!!
Oh, yes…I have a Rubicoil and it’s sitting unused like a cast-off over-sized hole punch. I’ve been thinking about it lately. Your little notebook sure did turn out cute! I love the twine with the chick and I LOVE the idea of an autograph book. I wonder if you remember Slam Books? It was about the time I was in junior high school. You’d decorate a notebook and pass it around the whole school. Everyone would write a comment about you in it. Few people would be rude enough to actually “slam” you, though. Have fun with your autograph book, Bev!
