Aloha, Hula Sophie!
Meet Sophie! She’s on a Hawaiian vacation, and has learned to do a beautiful hula! Perhaps when she gets back home, she can send out some of these for a Hawaiian Luao-style gathering! The Hanna Friday Challenge at SCS today is to add bling to your Hanna creation. So, I’ve added some 
fun glitter to the printed paper, as well as to the top flap and gave Sophie a glitzed grass skirt as well. Dew Drops were also added with just a wee drop of Diamond Glaze as the clear adhesive to hold them permanently. I just love the flap card technique that I used on a post a few days ago, so I just had to do more. The style was a fun SCS Challenge, TLC61.
This week has brought the beginning of the kitchen updating I’ve hoped for since moving here 3 years ago. The ‘popcorn’ ceiling texture is now a memory .. and new can lights are already shining brightly in the formerly dimly lit area! WOW! It’s a world of white dust and plastic sheeting right now .. but the weekend will bring a lot more progress! Have a fabulous weekend out there!

Riley is so cute! I’m gonna need some Riley soon, seeing him all over the place!! I love the colours you chose!! They make me wanna pucker up my lips!! lol I know I’m silly! :S
This brought a great big huge smile to me face! I love it! I might have to get her! I also lovethe fancy fold on this and the previous one! On the kitchen front, does that mean no cooking for a while? I may have to redo our kitchen then 🙂
