Kitchen Progress! Ceiling is Cool!

Kitchen Cooking Side crp640

Okay … to most … this must seem oh so mundane.  But to those who know me IRL … we moved into this home over 2.5 years ago.  We knew that DH’s “manshack” would come first. And it did … in a wonderful way for DH, without a doubt.  Now it’s time for our home to be the recipient of the labor & love.   So, without further adieu, I offer you the progress over the past weekend!  To you … it’s probably “Ohhh.”  To us .. it is “What a great improvement!  More, more!”  hahahhaa

The best part is … “It has begun”.   Ohhhhh, what an improvement!  The new can lights are wonderful!  And …. much more to come as the days go by!  Needless to say, I just LOVE my handy, awesome hubby!!  (For more reasons than stated here, of couse.   *wink*)   Project Recipe:  Visit “Home Depot” regularly, followed by frequent visits to “Lowe’s” IRL.   It’s a lot of fun!  Honest!    P.S.  If you ‘look’ through the door on the left …. that’s on the way to Tex’s Studio!

Yea Bev! I’m so glad to see the kitchen is actually started since that’s the ONLY reason I gave you a pass on StampMania this year! I so wish you were coming, but I do know how exciting that work is. We plan to do our bedroom next month and I’m giddy over it!

  5. Yeah for you Bev, how exciting!! I know what you mean about trips to Home Depot – with building our home over the last year, it was a daily stop – LOL! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

Yay! Can’t wait to the finished product. My DH and I are great for planning projects…then changing our minds…then replanning….over and over and then it takes us forever to finally start the project! So I know the feeling of excitement of just starting! LOL! Have fun!

Oh, how fun! I love remodeling! Well, not the mess and upheaval, but I love the finished product. Our house looked exactly like this recently when my husband painted our ceilings. I hope you’ll continue to share photos!

It’s already looking awesome! How wonderful for you. I totally understand the level of love that goes along with your statement. My husband is handy in the same way and it is a real treat being the recipient of so much talent and creativity that is wrapped up in his desire to give me my desires and make me happy…there is a whole lot of love in that…sounds like your husband is the same in that way! Kitchens carry so much heart in a home…hope you have many years of great conversations and great shared meals and memories in yours! Can’t wait to see more pictures as the room progresses! TFS
