Hail? We got some!
Indeed! Last night, for the 2nd time in 3 days we were pelted with a lot of wind, rain, and more hail! On Tuesday, we experienced a daytime storm with quarter-sized hail. By the time I remembered to grab my camera after the hail & rain had stopped, it was far too late for successful photos. Of course, the hail began after 3:00 a.m. this morning, and after checking the radar via television, we eventually slept. So when did I get these 
photos of the hail “pile”? We actually spotted this pile of hailstones near the deck, at noon today! This hail was frozen as a pile at least 8 hours after the storm! (My Croc shoe is there merely as a reference point.) So far, all is quiet tonight! Ahhhhhhh, silence can be a good thing!

Wow! That blows me away! We didn’t have any hail at all in our area of Dallas. And I didn’t even know it rained last night, I don’t think it did in our area. Wild!
oh, sweet tex, i thought maybe you were like cinderella and left your “slipper” there as you ran away 🙂 we got the remains of your bad weather last. we at a restaurant when our sirens went off. i was a little startled when i heard the manager say “walk-in cooler” ~ meaning that’s where we’d all have to go if a tornado was spotted!
needless to say, we finished up and got home to our basement! 🙂

But I see leaves and green !! There has to be some good – wish we had green and leaves !! Glad you “weathered” the storm Tex ! LOL !!
Oh my goodness…that’s a lot of hail! Yikes!
