Keep Life Simple, Riley!
Riley has some great advice for all of us, “Keep Life Simple”! So he’s spent the day lounging on the beach, listening to the gentle ocean waves, sipping on something cool & refreshing. I wanted to have a little fun with this cute stamp, so I peeked in at the SCS Technique Challenge for this week, TLC173, “With a Shimmer & a Glimmer”. Although it’s hard to capture shimmer sprays on photos, I think a bit of the shimmer spray shows up here. I sprayed the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on as the final step in making this card.
I love being on a beach by the ocean! So, I just had to add some real sand to Riley’s beach. It’s glue on with a great clear glue for crafters, Elmer’s Craft Bond. I usually find mine at Michael’s, in the area where the many craft glues & adhesives are located. It is clear, dries clear, and has a thick consistency that’s easy to “keep in place” on a flat surface. I also stamped the palm leaves again, cut them out, and added the cutouts to the tree tops, just to be sure that Riley has enough shade for his hammock. 😉 I hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for stopping by!
