Stitched Up Howdy!
What a delight to find that today’s featured stamper at SCS is Niki Estes! Even though it couldn’t happen early in the day, I knew I wanted to play along with FS82. So here’s a charming little cowboy, ready to lasso up a stray! And for those who haven’t experienced harvesting grain on the farm, I am smiling at this image of Quentin with a wheat stalk in his mouth. I can’t begin to tell you how often I saw my Dad do that during the harvest when I was young. I’m pretty sure I savored a wheat stalk or two right along with him.
The Basic Grey paper is machine-stitched to the top-folded card base. Even though there are no stitches on the image layer, I did use the sewing machine for the piercing. I already had the machine set up … so that was a snap! Of course, Quentin’s shirt is also paper-pieced to coordinate. I hope you enjoy!

INKS – Adirondack Espresso, Ginger, & Pesto, Palette Noir Black, Copic Markers. ACCESSORIES – Linen Thread, Needle, SU Oval Punches, Sewing Machine, 3M Foam Tape, Scor-Pal.

Darling card Bev, nice case!
WOW! Bev this is so cool! I love this image! Also love how you paper pieced his shirt, it is so real looking you’d think it was fabric!
This is so, so cute Bev! I love how you used all the stitching and the fence as a photo corner! Too clever!
