Ode to Sunflowers! * Treasure Hunt Tuesday!

Published by at 6:00 am under Rubbernecker,SCS Challenges

RN Sunflower Heart 510×404

All along the roadsides in this area, we have had an abundance of sunflowers.    This will soon be giving way to the cooler days of Fall, followed by the fading and dwindling of our wildflower blooms.   So, here’s a ‘wreath’ of sunflowers to keep the memory of the golden sun colors alive.   It’s also my contribution to the FS87 challenge this week.   Congrats to ‘Love Stampin’!!!’, this week’s featured stamper!   Be sure to check out FS87 if you would like to participate!   In order to perk up the image, I stamped it twice and used several blooms & leaves from the extra image to cut out and lift on foam tape.  The flower centers are lightly touched with brown glitter, and the vine twirls are touched with a bit of Sakura Glaze pen.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!   (Project recipe will be listed at bottom of post.)

Smiley from millan.net  Of course, it’s Treasure Hunt Tuesday , so you’re welcome to sail on over to Rubbernecker Stamp Company, and collect the clues for free stamps!  You’ll also want to check out our design team blogs for lots more inspiration!   Sherry is offering extra treasure today, and you’ll find lots of eye-candy as you visit Tami, Linda, Kittie, BroniJuliana, Shelly, and CandyHere’s to your great day of treasure hunting!  Be sure to check back tomorrow for another Blogger’s Challenge!
