The Littlest Pilgrim * Time for Treasure!

RN Pilgrim girl TLC 502×510

I couldn’t resist this sweet little pilgrim girl by Stamp Oasis.  After reading this week’s  technique challenge at SCS (TLC193), I knew I wanted to give it a try.  Becca Feeken’s technique requires having a corner punch.  Well, besides my various corner rounders, I have only one corner punch.  Thus, the choice was easy!   I used the technique to create the punched medallion, as well as the matching paper ‘lace’.

RN Pilgrim grl closup 329×375I’ve added a bronze shimmer to the card with a very cool product called ‘Perfect Pearls’.  This concentrated shimmer powder is packed with shimmer, and when mixed with water in my Ranger Mini Misters, it creates a custom shimmery spray.  Notice, I didn’t use any alcohol or hair spray, as this product does not require additional binding agents.  I hope you can see the shimmer in the photo.  Other than shimmer, special punched effects and metal brads, I’ve kept this creation rather ‘clean’.  My hubby teases that stampers can’t make a card without ribbon … so I’ll need to remember to show this one to him.  hee hee
