Gift Cards & Treasures!

RN Candle tag gift card 515×490

Hello everyone!  It’s a terrific Tuesday here in Texas, and I hope you’ll have the same, whereever you may be!  Here at my house, we’ll be finishing up loose ends at the grocery store, cleaning house a bit, and hoping to get in  o n e   l a s t stampin’ session before the cooking begins for my family gathering here.   Mind you, that is not set in stone, but rather an “idea” or  the ‘hope’ of one Texas woman.

RN candle tag giftcard open 375×298In the meantime, I’ve finished up the Technique Lover’s Challenge from SCS, TLC196!   As for myself … I owe plenty of thanks to my friend, “Lynn in St. Louis” for this week’s challenge.  I will definitely be making good use of this techinique.  If you check it out, you might feel the same way as well!

Rn Candle Gift Card closeup 350×205My gift card holder features the Rubbernecker gift tag stamp, “Candle Tag“, following Lynn’s TLC196  (see link above) instructions for assembly.   Honestly, as long as you have 12″x12” cardstock, this technique is a “snap”! Trust me.   I’ve chosen to close my gift card holder with ribbon, so as not to combine a magnetic closure with a magnetized gift card.  As an alternative, you might elect to close yours with a velcro tab.

Smiley from millan.netUh-oh …. Did you realize that today is also “Treasure Hunt Tuesday” at Rubbernecker Stamps?  Aye!  Treasure awaits ye who are willing to search for the bounty!  The places ye be searchin’ include the following ports:

Rubbernecker Blog

Kittie – Kittie Kraft

Linda –  Linda’s Works of Heart

Pam – Iris Garden

Shelly –  Stamp with Shelly

Tami – A Walk on the Mild Side

Alas, I do not hold this week’s treasure here at “Savor the Journey”.  Yet either one or two of me mateys is holding $10 treasure for 2 of ye sailors who find & put ye bid in for it!  Yes …2 treasures of $10 rubbernecker bucks are ready for the plundering!!  Best of luck to each and every one of ye treasure seekers!  Tell’em “Tex” sent ye along yer way!

And just one more thing!   Be sure to check out the big 3-day sale at Rubbernecker! All the Adirondack pigment ink pads and refills are on sale Friday, Nov 28 through Sunday, Nov 30, no kidding!  Check it out on the home page.
