A Star is Born!

RN babybunny 404×520I had a delightful time with this adorable bunny image.  Almost as soon as I saw it, I recalled a little baby blue bunny that ‘appeared’ in an Easter basket several years ago.   I wonder if my (then little) son remembers that bunny now?   Well no matter, his Mom remembers.  *wink*

Times have changed, and I didn’t feel the need to recreate that bunny in ‘baby blues’, but I did elect to keep him in ‘blues’ anyway … just the ‘new blues’!   Every now & then it’s just plain fun to shake up the expected in some way!   My first copic colors were the lightest in my collection, moving on into the bolder numbers in my collection.  While it’s not exactly as I had envisioned, I’ve decided that every work is just a little different, and I’m good with that!  Static can lead to ‘boring’!  So on with the bold baby card!  *grin*

RN bunny closupstar 275×254I’ve added a new Tim Holtz pin to the star … In the close-up you will see the fine detail of the pin … and the teeny word, ‘Fragile’.  Each pin in the collection has a different, meaningful expression.  They remind me of the old swimming pool pins we had for our basket identification …. when the world was a bit simpler and much less ‘risky’.
