Good Luck Kisses!
Have you ever wished you could send or give a “Good Luck” wish to someone? I recently wished I could do just that, when my son was taking the National Registry exam for EMT. (YAY! BCG is now a Licensed EMT!!! Congratulations, Brandon!) Alas, I’ve come up with this ‘after’ that fact …. isn’t that just the way some things go. It’s okay, as I know I’ll “need” this idea at another time as well, and maybe you will too! Every now & then, I see these cool ‘larger’ Hershey’s Kisses in a box. Usually, I’ve passed them by … until now. Think about it .. … They’re just perfect for wishing someone a Kiss & Good Luck!
Granted, I’ve manipulated my computer-generated tag position for photos, but the final product is a sweet & fun little Good Luck gift for a multitude of causes! I’ve colored 2 Riley Moose images to enable the popped-up effect. The horseshoe was stamped separately with Ranger Embossing Ink and embossed with Silver embossing powder. I really enjoy the look achieved with lifting an image above its duplicate … in real life, the effect is distinct.
My trusty Spellbinders Ovals & Scalloped Ovals provide the layering, and a simple silver eyelet assures that the tags won’t be torn by the ribbons & metallic cords. Both tags actually hang in a more ‘natural’ position, but I did use a glue dot temporarily for photo purposes. I do suggest a natural fall of the tags for giving. So the next time you wonder what you could do with those cool “big” kisses … I hope you remember this idea! Thank you for your visit today! Here’s to a “Good Luck & Kisses” week for you!
