You’r’e the Best!!
It’s a gray day here … and we’re hoping for some much-needed rain. Even so, gray is gray …so I’m posting color today!! My initial plan wasn’t so bright, nor so tall. But I was inspired by the featured stamper this week, Judy Rozema. Congratulations on being this week’s featured stamper, Judy! StampingQueenJar‘s inspiration seemed to allow for a taller image, which was great, as I wanted to use my Rock Star Hanna again. Once I chose the Basic Grey paper, the colors were set! My card fits into a long business-size envelope. I remember seeing racks of this sized card in stores. I think they used to be $1.29 … but it’s been a long time since I perused retail card racks.
In order to get the splashes of color all around Hanna and the sentiment, I masked her with Eclipse tape, then played with sponges & inks. The stars were punched, inked with Ranger Emboss Ink, and given a topcoat of Heat & Stick. Upon heating, the H&S powder melts to a thin adhesive … just perfect for holding on some colorful glitter. Stickles glitter glue adds some jazz to the guitar, and to Hanna’s outfit. So, when your day is gray …. chase it away! Use some jazzy color! Thanks for sharing a moment of your day today!
