Wacky Wednesday #6 * Color Challenge!

RN DivaChanel lyrs 375×178It’s here!

Wacky Wednesday is back with a cool color challenge from Linda Duke!  Linda has challenged us to make a project using pink and lilac.  Sure sounds like Spring colors to me!

I have a sneak peek for you today, of one of the brand new sets from Rubbernecker Stamps, “Diva Fashions 456” !  You’ll see even more peeks of more new sets on the rest of the Red Hot Mammas’ blogs too.  We are so excited to be sharing these new sets with you!    Thursday, April 9 is our release, so these sets will be available for sale tomorrow!    Also during tomorrow’s release, we will have a Blog Stroll  (get it . . . Red-Hot Mommas doing the stroll.   I can hear that music from Bandstand now!)    The cool news is that  during the Blog Stroll tomorrow, 6 of the Design Team will be giving away the set that they preview.  I will be giving away “Diva Fashions 456”.  There will be one winner from each of the six blogs and then, if you follow the clues you have a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE (all six sets).  You’ll need to start at the Rubbernecker Blog tomorrow and follow the clues along the way.  You won’t be sorry!  Go for the new goodies!  Now, here’s your first peek at the new “Diva Fashions 456”!

My card also uses two of the newest Rubbernecker background stamps.  The base card was stamped tone-on-tone with the “Flourish” background, using Ranger Distress Ink Milled Lavender.  Next, the vertical pink strip was stamped with the new ‘French Script background, using Distress Ink Tattered Rose.  I’ve tried to color the perfume as closely as possible to my favorite scent, and it worked out perfectly for Linda’s Wacky Wednesday Challenge.  The layered bottle is covered with Glossy Accents for more depth and the look of glass.  The sentiment is included in the new stamp set too!  I masked the two lines with scotch tape for stamping around the corner.  This card is inspired by today’s SCS sketch challenge, SC223.
