You Make My Heart Smile!
I can think of a few people right now that should receive this card from me. That’s why I’m adding it to my ‘card stash’ list, to remind me to make a couple extras for my card box. This one all started out with the recent Featured Stamper challenge at SCS, FS115. SCS’s ‘jaymerz’ (Jamie) has a delightful gallery, and I found the perfect inspiration for this fun new floral image from Rubbernecker.
I used waterbased markers to color directly on the rubber stamp. I played with several color options, and finally let the 7 Gypsies paper guide my final choices. This is such a quick style! In order to get the sentiment ‘ribbon’ just right, I merely stamped the sentiment, then cut to the size I wanted with a paper trimmer, followed by scissors for the ends. This yummy ribbon is from May Arts. Pssssst! Rubbernecker is now carrying lots of May Arts ribbons for our creative indulgence! It’s offered by the roll or by the yard!!Yay!!
