RN Floral Silhouettes FS119 tppr 500×198

Hi everyone!   Please excuse the past couple of days.  My blog has been enduring a bit of maintenance and upgrade issues.  I finally decided to wait until the “all clear” signal was given.  😉

For those of you who enjoy the challenges at Splitcoast, you might have already discovered this week’s featured stamper challenge, FS119.   Well, the featured stamper is my sweet friend and fabulous designer, Joan Ervin!  Congratulations, Joan!    Hint:  Take a look through her SCS gallery, and you’ll find yourself eager to participate in this week’s challenge.

RN floral silhouettes fs119 398×500My card is based on one of the beauties in Joan’s gallery, with changes of color, stamps, ribbon, etc.  I used SU markers to color directly on the rubber stamp.  Spica glitter pen was added to the yellow/gold areas.  The ‘leaves’ behind the layered flower were punched from the same paper seen in the background, then some ink applied to the leaves directly from the pad.  The image layer was given a touch of Distress Ink along the edges with my Tim Holt’s applicator.

I’m glad to see y’all again!  Check back tomorrow (with good luck in cyber-land), and we’ll have a Wacky Wednesday challenge for everyone, along with prizes up for grabs!
