Welcome to Wednesday, everyone!  What a special Wacky Wednesday Challenge (#25) the talented Linda Duke has in store for all of us today!   Because Rubbernecker Stamps is sponsoring the weekly Color Throwdown Challenge, the WW#25 Challenge is for us to use the Color Throwdown colors on our projects.  Design teams from both will be using the same colors.  Here are the colors:  SU Bermuda Bay, SU Dusty Durango, and SU Soft Suede.  Some of us will be using the following Prism cardstocks instead:  Prism Vibrant Teal, Prism Desert Coral Dark, & Prism Suede Brown Medium.

Extra news this week!  By linking your creations to our Rubbernecker Blog thread +and+ to the Color Throwdown Blog thread, you’ll have +two+ chances at winning a prize this week!  AND, everyone who enters a link at the Rubbernecker Blog will be qualified to use the 10% code of WW25 towards shopping at the Rubbernecker store!  The winner of our Rubbernecker Challenge will win a 40% coupon!  Best of luck to each of you!

My project includes 3-D work, along with heat embossing, as well as following the Prism colors for the Color Throwdown challenge this week!   At first, I had to wonder about the colors, but the truth is, once you begin to play with them, it’s a fabulous combination!!  I’ve added gold embossing to play against the colors.

After stamping the butterfly images with embossing ink, the images were embossed in gold then trimmed & embellished with coordinating Martha Stewart glitters.  The 3-D floral image was cut from the same designer papers & cardstock as seen on the card, using my ‘Slice’.  Of course, more MS glitter was added to bring everything together.

I wish you the best on today’s WW25 challenge!  I had a splendid time working on my sample project for you.   For more inspiration & eye-candy, you’ll enjoy checking out the Red Hot Mamma’s blogs as listed below!
