Thank you, Liz!!

award Kreative Blogger 175×175I’ve been blessed recently by a friend that, so far, I only know “online”.  Liz Williams surprised me with this award!  I think I might recognize Liz if we were at a stamping event together, but even though we’re both in Texas, we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet.  We also share similar history of having been Kindergarten teachers.  Check out her blog and discover what delightful talent she has to share with all of us!  This is one of those sweet little blessings of Splitcoaststampers (SCS).  It’s brought many new friends into my life, including those that I just haven’t ‘met’ yet.  Thank you, Liz!   😉

Okay … 7 Possibly Interesting Things About Me:   (Did I say “simple” requirements above?  I don’t think so!)

  1. I’m trying to learn to “love” working out.  I’m not quite there yet, but that’s a goal that I’m working on.
  2. I love to play games with friends!  You know … board games, dominoes, etc.  (Exciting, isn’t it?!)
  3. My online name, “TexasGrammy”, was chosen over 5 years ago when I was looking forward to my first grandchild.  I didn’t feel like a ‘grandma’, so I told the family I’d like to go for “Grammy”.   Well, of course the little ones say what they’re going to say, and I’m actually “Mimi” instead!
  4. Through college AFROTC, I was thrilled to fly in a T-38 jet!  What a blast! By the way, in college, I buy my first essay
  5. I absolutely adore roller coasters!
  6. One of my fav vacations included parasailing with my daughter.  Very cool!
  7. Changes in my life include having given up coffee.  (I never thought I would hear myself say that!)   Iced tea, please!
