‘Beary’ Happy Birthday!! – a.k.a. Oh what a cheesy title!
Here’s wishing someone a ‘Beary’ Happy Birthday!! (What a totally cheesy title, eh?) Sorry, I guess that I just ‘had’ to do it. I enjoyed the opportunity to join in this week’s sketch challenge (SC244) at SCS. For some reason, it seemed just perfect for a happy little birthday greeting, so this is the result.
I’ve used a collection of double-sided papers to pull it all together … I love it when that works for my intended idea! I did add some new Rock Candy Distress Stickles to some of the large blue circles, as well as to the party hat for some party pizzazz. Tex’s Tip: Remember to smear Distress Stickles on your project with your fingertip or other more costly applicator for the best results. Results are best seen ‘after’ the Distress Stickles have dried! 😉 Other goodies include dew drops and machine stitching . After that, it’s just basic coloring with alcohol markers, a wee bit of beary fun cutting, and popping up some of the layers! (I will admit that this little bear is colored pretty much like my own personal ‘teddy’. Oh that bear was snuggled & cuddled for years!) I hope you like it!
Thanks so much for spending some of your moments here to visit! It’s a rather special weekend for me, and I’m contemplating a little ‘candy plan’. If it comes to be, you might want to check in over your long holiday weekend! *wink*wink*
