Spooooky Nights …

 Ooooooooooooooooooh ….. spooooooooky nights!

Okay … I know it seems early for Halloween.  Goodness, we’re just getting a good hold on September!  But for stampers who need to create goodies for their little spooks, it’s about time to get a little ghostly creativity simmering!

I was spurred along by this week’s FS136 challenge at SCS.  This week features a darling Texas stampin’ diva, Shannan Teubner!  Congratulations, Shannan!  That’s all it took for me to envision this new little ghost (from one of Rubbernecker‘s 3 new Halloween sets) all ready to go trick-or-treating.  I’m guessing he’s going to the school carnival for extra fun!  He was very simple to color in with alcohol markers, and I’m pretty sure your Prismas & gamsol would work equally as well.

The cuttlebugged background was dabbed with white pigment ink for added dimension, and the punched border was given a little extra drama with a matching shadowing piece of gray behind the orange.   Clear dimensional adhesive is the perfect way to adhere the googly eyes and black droplets.  (What teacher or class mom doesn’t have a stash of those googlies somewhere?)

I’ll plan to have more Halloween sweets to share in the coming days!  Meanwhile, you’ll probably be spotting more on the blogs of my Rubbernecker girlfriend’s blogs as well!  Trick or Treat!!
