Santa’s Mojo Monday … on a Tuesday!
Ahhhhh, sweet Tuesday to each of you!
However, looking at the calendar, it appears that I might be just a tad ‘late’. Why? Because today’s card is actually based on the “Mojo Monday” sketch for this week (MOJO117) … although I’ll admit that I started thinking, planning and working while it was still ‘Monday’. Hope that counts! Besides, some things just have to wait to be finished. 😉
And just for the record, the sketch included a circle … how could I even resist?! No way … gotta love circles!
Since Santa is within a circle, I felt it was only proper to find papers & punches that would echo the feel of circles. So, enter one of my fav tools, the Cropadile Corner Chomper, and a border punch that truly carries on the feeling of circles. Toss in a wee bit of sparkly glitter and a bow of satin ribbon .. and there you have it! One more Christmas card, ready to go!
As a side note, this Santa is “so” quick & easy to color, that I’ve decided this needs to be produced for a few more family Christmas cards. No, it isn’t clean & simple to the eye, or to the Postmaster at this point, but I’m thinking that a modified flat ribbon will do the trick for a few more cards to “go out the door”. *wink*
Have a sweet week, everyone! Thank you so much for your visits and your moments spent to leave comments. Y’all truly make me smile, inside & out!
~
P.S. Happy Birthday, darling Daddy… …

LOVE the Santa – how cute – and LOVE the background paper. GREAT card!
What a fun, gogeous card I love it!
Love this Bev and the patterned paper you used. I haven’t been able to find it in a 6×6 pad… Great card and definitely thinking along “flat” ribbon for mailing ;o)
Too, toooo cute, Missy….your Santa is adorable with his sparkly beard and your circles and curvy paper is just perfect!!!!! Love that big, white bow, too!!!!
First of all, your card is just darling, Bev, and it reminds me to pull out some of that BG paper that I love so much!
Secondly, oh.my.goodness….where have I been? Which bus did I miss? How many buses have I missed??? I didn’t know that you are Jess’s mom and that Jess is your daughter?! What a powerhouse of family creativity–wow.
Merry Christmas,
Amy
