Hatching Out with Easter!
Doesn’t it make you smile to know that Easter is on its way?
My youth included chickens on the farm … and that included hatching baby chicks. Ohhhhh, how cute! Even now, I melt over such sweet little sights, although it has been seemingly forever since I’ve touched a little chick. Happily, this little one seems tickled to be hatched, so it can spread some Easter joy!
I trimmed the top of the image before die-cutting with a Nestabilities Rectangle, to achieve the look of the chick popping over the top of the image layer. 3 panels of the same Basic Grey paper provide the Springtime background, bordered by the white punched layer. It’s a basically simple & sweet layout inspired by the SCS Sketch Challenge, SC270. Have some unplanned stamping time this week? Check out the SCS challenges! 😉
Whether you’re a first-time visitor to Savor the Journey, or a now-and-again visitor, I thank you! If I’ve been able to bring a smile or a bit of inspiration, then that makes my day. Here’s to a delightful day for you!
