Surprise!! Happy Birthday, Stamp TV!
It’s a Surprise Party!!!! 
It is Stamp TV’s 1st birthday and we just wanted to throw a little party for Gina! Happy 1st Birthday Stamp TV!!! To celebrate, a bunch of design team members and challenge hostesses decided to create birthday cards using a previous Stamp TV kit (or Gina K set). Leave a comment on every blog along the way because one lucky commenter will receive the all new Stamp TV kit that will be released next week!!!! (And….you’re gonna LOVEEE it!) You will have until Sunday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. Central to post comments on all the blogs. The winner will be posted on Stamp TV on Monday!
I’ve chosen some of my all-time favorite stamp sets, designed by Gina, to help me wish her and Stamp TV a happy day. Rather than coloring the butterfly from “Take Flight”, I stamped it on printed paper and heat embossed it in black before cutting it out to lift its wings.
Now if you’re a fan of Stamp TV and/or Gina K’s monthly releases, you’ve no doubt been amazed by the beautiful backgrounds created by Theresa Momber. I must confess to being a big fan of her work. Well, finally I just had to start trying to learn from reading her beautiful blog, where she carefully explains and shows how she achieves her scenes. While this is just my first attempt that I’m willing to show online, I know I’m going to keep trying to improve my use of this techinque. Thanks to Theresa for her inspiration! The floral stamps are from Gina’s set, “Tropical Flowers”.
Finally, the greeting is one of my earliest GK sets, “Punchy Words”. The circle sentiments fit beautifully within circle punches, making them so quick & easy to pop out and add to a card.

Oh, you used two of my all-time GKD sets, Bev. What a pretty, soft card. You did great with your background sponging. It’s hard to believe this is your first attempt. Theresa’s such an inspiration, isn’t she? I want to try this, too, but a little intimidated. 🙂
