Preview Day 3! “Hugs and Prayers” and “Seeds of Kindness”

Published by at 10:00 pm under Blog Hop,Gina K Designs

I’m so glad to “see” you here for day 3 of this month’s previews for Gina K. Designs!  Tonight’s previews include wonderful florals & foliage.  You’ll also find beautiful sentiments within both of these sets, Gina’s new Card Kit Club stamp set for July, “Seeds of Kindness”, as well as “Hugs and Prayers” by Nina Brackett.

For even more samples with the stamp sets being previewed tonight, check out these designer’s links:

We’d also like to invite you to attend our Release Party this Thursday, July 1st starting at 7 pm central on StampTV!  There will be challenges, contest questions, and more samples from our designers on all the new stamp sets being released this month!  We’d love to have you join in on the fun!  Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net

Now it’s my turn to share some ideas!

First I have a trio of potted plants from the new Card Kit Club set, “Seeds of Kindness”.   Truth is, at one time or another, I’ve tried to nurture each one of these types of plants  … Yes .. that was “tried”.    After stamping & coloring, the image was cut out and popped up atop a pierced layer of ivory cardstock.   Bitty punched butterflies were added for a feeling of Spring & Summer.   Gina K’s base weight Pure Luxury Ivory & White cardstocks are heavy 120 lb. weight  …  perfect for card bases, and stands up tall against layers & embellishments.

My next sample features the new “Hugs and Prayers” set by Nina Brackett.  Like I said, floral & foliage lovers, this is the month for you!

Here in Texas, beautiful ‘trumpet vines’ can be found winding up & across fences, showing off bountiful blooms throughout the summer … much to the  delight of local hummingbirds.    Truth is, a few trumpet vines are part of my back yard wish list.

The hummingbird has been shimmered with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, for a delicate overall shimmery look.  The bold trumpet blossoms are popped up for more dimension, along with their adoring hummingbird.  The leafy background on the trumpet vine image layer is from a long-time favorite Gina K. set, “Tropical Flowers”.  The basic card for this one uses Gina’s Pure Luxury Sweet Mango cardstock …. such a yummy color!

Thanks a bunch for your visit with me today!  I hope to see you again soon!
