Life is a Picnic!!
It’s time for the Friday Sketch challenge at Our Craft Lounge, and you’re definitely invited to play along! Pssssssssssst! Participants have chances to WIN A PRIZE – any one Our Craft Lounge stamp set of your choice. ONE WINNER will be selected for each MONTH. On the first of each month, OCL will select a winner for the previous month. This means that you could have four or five weeks to be able to participate. You can participate as many times as you would like. A random winner will be selected and posted on the OCL Blog on the first of each month.
Here are the rules:
- use any Our Craft Lounge stamps that you wish – but you must use OCL stamps to be eligible to win the prize
- link to your card/project at the bottom of the OCL blog post using Mr. Linky – **be sure to link directly to your challenge card – not a general blog or gallery link**
- use the sketch as your basis – do whatever inspires you, but please base it on the sketch

I’ve opted for a picnic theme in honor of America’s birthday, a.k.a. Independence Day celebration! Now normally, ants wouldn’t be invited of course, but who can resist these little cuties?
This week’s SCS F4A19 challenge asks us to use stars and gold on our creations. Well, even this former teacher didn’t have any official “gold stars”, so I did the next best thing ….. start with a silver star brad, then heat emboss it to create a gold star! I also stamped random red stars on the red background layer, which are better seen in the little close-up photo at the top of this post. Just a little machine stitching made me feel like it was a little more home-style.

This is adorable, bev…the little ants are just tooo cute and I’m lovin all the red!!!! Hope you are staying cool….I don’t go outside much..LOl!!!
