How ‘Bout This Stinger?!

RN Bee Radar DTGD tppr 590×118

Aren’t we women a lot alike, in many ways?   Before you misunderstand, I do realize that we are all so very different that it makes the world a beautiful place.  But still, in many ways, women share like thoughts, similar “vanity issues”, etc.

In this card, dear Ms. Radar the bee shares one of the same, age-old issues that has been passed through the ages amongst women …. that issue of the “derriere”.   Yes.   It’s true.   Notice that I did “not” post a picture of my ‘own’ rear aspect.   ‘Nuff said.     😉

Yep …. this is another entry for some of the fun Dare to Get Dirty challenges going on over at SplitcoastStampers this week.   I will tell you that one of the challenges includes the colors I’ve chosen for this creation.  Surely you recognize that these are not necessarily from my “comfort zone” pallette!    hahaha    However, it’s been a fun “stretch” for me …. that’s a very cool thing about challenges.

Fan Club Members are encouraged & welcome to play along in the multitude of challenges being hosted by current and former Dirty Dozen gals … with several new challenges being posted each day.  Whew!

That’s precisely why I’ve tried to add in more than one challenge on each of my projects.   I need “time”!  I can’t just zap out creations as fast as they can post’em!  LOL   There’s “life” going on here at the same time!  hee hee  This creation is for the challenges posted by StamperSharon, SweetMissDaisy, JeanneS, debdeb, & flowergal36, as well as for the Central Theme challenge of the Dirty Dozen Gallery this month.    Once you see how many fabboo challenges they’re posting, you’ll totally understand the urge to “combine” challenges!   C’mon & join in the fun!   (I can’t reveal the challenge specifics here … but if you’ll join the SCS Fan Club, or if you’re already a member, the details are right there for you!)

I’ve used heat embossing on the main image, painted in some fab shimmer on her wings (thanks to a lesson from my sweet friend, Vicki Chrisman!), added some simple machine stitches, sponged a bit of color within the framing, and shifted the intended location of the sentiment … only so you could see that stinger to the full advantage!  LOL

Thanks for stopping by today!  C’mon & play along with the challenges!  I’m ‘not’ traveling with everyone else to Chicago for next week’s Summer CHA, so I’ll need some company to play & stamp & keep my spirits “up”!
