Gotta Have a Baby Card * Now!!
Welcome sweet Sunday! … Am I “blessed” …. or what?!
I’ve been invited to a gathering in Oklahoma …. of my birth-family today! As it happens, my sweet cousin Steve’s daughter is expecting her baby pretty soon, so it’s also a baby shower event …. and I haven’t a clue as to whether the coming blessing is a boy or a girl. Thus, I need a “unisex” baby creation … pronto! No worries …. I am smiling on the inside to the point that I cannot sleep. There’s time for sleep …. later. This is the time for blessed anticipation! My camera battery has been fully charged, the memory card is ready for the coming barrage of pics …. and although you can’t “see” me, I am hoppin’ happy with anticipation!
Since the past week has been a celebration of Dare to Get Dirty challenges, for the Fan Club, over at SCS, that’s been a focal point for me in my little ventures in the studio this week. I’ll continue my challenge explorations over the next week as well. This one was developed for Kelly’s DTGE10kmahany challenge. It also is inspired by this week’s featured stamper challenge, FS181.
I do adore square cards … I think it’s the orderly space allowed for creating …. just my opinion. This one is my typical 5.25″, fitting the square envies available. However, I’ll be hand-delivering this one, so I’ve actually packaged it within a clear envie intended for 6×6 scrapbook pages. Repurpose! heh heh heh
Much of the visual attraction on this one comes from the Webster’s Pages designer paper. My quest was simply to find the “right” sentiment, and apply it within the pattern of the paper. Not my typical style, but I found it to be oh-so-interesting …. and easy as well! (Ssshhhhhhhhhhh!) Check it out for yourself …. you might even “like” the result! 😉
