It’s Button Time!
Oh my friends! I apologize for letting the time slip away so very quickly since my last post. What can I say/sing …. It’s Summer-tiiiiiiiiiime … and the livin’ … is eeeee – zzzzzzzzzy …..
Okay … well … it IS Summer, and it really “is” distracting a.k.a. HOT in many ways. I still have a few “wishes” to accomplish before the chill & brown of Fall in Texas comes to spend some time.
However, I do have stampin’ needs & reasons to find the studio! Alas, I am guilty of taking time away for “other stuff” along the way. Such is the wonderful stuff of “Summer”! Please understand & forgive if you can. Hopefully, many of you are facing the same sorts of “distractions” … after all … this is the stuff of “life” … right?! 😉
This card was rather quickly created for the Ways to Use It challenge this week over at SCS … we’re challenged to use buttons! Ha! Okay … I’m ready to admit it …. I have carefully developed a “button stash” …. some have been with me for a couple or more years, some even longer, some are rather newly-acquired. Hence … the “stash”.
Well, “breaking into the stash” can honestly be a bit difficult! Weird … yes … but true. So I chose to use 3 of my newly-acquired buttons on this other-wise clean & simple card. Hey!! I let’em go! ….. right?! LOL
My inspiration?? This is the time when Texans begin to spot those black-eyed Susan’s along the roadsides! Now granted, my “very local” neighborhood roads are currently filled with huge machines, dirt piles, gravel piles, would-be-concrete-pipelines … but a little bit farther off into ‘country area’, I do spy the fabulous late-summer wildflowers. You just have to take the “backroads”! 😉
Thanks for your visit! I hope that you’re also enjoying the fun/fruits of Summertime (if you’re here in the USA, that is)! Hope you’ll shout back with a “howdy” from whereever you might be!

What a beautiful card, Bev! I love the DP and green that you paired with this beautiful flower!!
I see, you’re still hoarding those buttons. I bet these three never made it to the ‘stash’ so it is easier to let them go. I know all about it. LOL Just the same, the card is beautiful, the image delightful, and such gorgeous dp.
Wow! That is all I can say! Wow!!
