Peekin’ … Yep … Peekin’ with Gina K!

Published by at 9:59 pm under Blog Hop,Gina K Designs

It’s time to peek in on the upcoming release from Gina K. Designs …. just one more day before the official release party on Thursday night!

It’s my pleasure to be sharing a couple of ideas featuring the new Lean On Me Card Kit!

The tricky part is in trying to share the ‘shimmery’ aspect that’s so evident when you’re looking at the cards IRL.   After days on end in the 100’s here in Texas, “this” is the day that the sun hid behind some cooling clouds …

long.

No sun to capture the shimmer, of all days!  LOL   Loved the 1″ of rain …  we’ll take it for sure!

I’ve kept the very same 4.25″ square design and simply changed cardstocks & stamps from the same Lean On Me card kit set for my 2nd card.    Can’t you just imagine how easy it would be to make up a few gift card sets with these?

While I used a lovely white shimmer image layer for the hibiscus, the 2nd card was stamped on an ivory shimmer cardstock.   Just a few little droplets and machine stitching are the only additions, allowing the shimmer to lend its own special touch to the blossoms.

I hope you’ve found some  inspiration for your creativity today!   I’m so glad to “see” you here, and I do welcome your visit!
