Hoppy Holidays! ** OCL Sketch Friday!
What?? .. … “Holidays”??
I know … please just bear with me for a bit.
Needless to say, I’m in “Texas” …
Well, everything is BIG here, including the “heat“! Yes, I have the A/C, the non-stop iced tea, the pool at the gym — oh wait … one must actually “go” to the gym to play in the pool. … ooops!
But for this week’s Our Craft Lounge Friday Sketch (OCLDT28), I just “had” to jump ahead to cooler times, complete with ‘faux’ snow/’faux’ frost … … … surely you get the picture by now. 😉

I did have to modify the sketch a wee bit, as the sentiment was already placed perfectly beneath the Christmas Toad. So, I substituted a few droplets along the hinted horizontal line. And, similar droplets filled the suggested button area just fine. The sewing machine that once-upon-a-time sewed baseball-uniform-type pajamas, sundresses, and ruffles, has now become my “go-to” item for stitches.
Now this little toad has ‘faux’ fuzzy antlers, courtesy of some Sparkly Fluff – Brown Sugar. The ‘faux snow’ is actually chunky glitter/glass shards, adhered along the edges of the Spellbinders scallops. More shine & dimension are apparent from the Ranger Glossy Accents on the candy cane, plus a wee bit of Liquid Applique for the “faux foam” on the cup of cocoa.
Brrrrrrrrr! Excuse me while I consider turning off the A/C! LOL
