Times …. & … Belated Times

RN Anne late bday tppr 595×76

Times ….

Some“times” — time is a good thing.   “Other” times — maybe not so good.

We all have our various examples, so I’ll leave yours to you, and mine to just myself.     😉

This” time, I’m making a possible-futile attempt at honoring an SCS friend and Rubbernecker DT colleague, Anne Ryan.   You see, Anne is one of those people who is ‘in tune’ with the inner pulse of many peeps at SCS.  Somehow, she “knows” who is hurting … she is already aware of who is in need … i.e.  I’m thinking she has some sort of ‘crystal ball’, but since we’re states apart, I really cannot say for sure.

Additionally, Anne is the creator & author of the weekly Queen For the Day challenges, posted on Fridays on SCS.  This week, it’s “her” turn to be the “Queen”.  Congratulations, sweet Anne!  Now the special thing about the QFTD challenges is the fact that it recognizes SCS participants who deserve a week on the cyber “throne”.  This week, we’re placing Anne herself on the throne, with her own cyber-crown, cyber-robe & lush red carpet.   Anne has a most admirable & elegant style in stamping … and alas, this stamper has wondered how on earth to do justice to one of her creations

So here we go …. I know that Anne enjoys using the fabulous papers from Graphic 45, so I browsed through my pages and decided that “Times” was a truly fitting theme.  We’re seemingly always in need of birthday cards, so I worked from Anne’s inspiration for the front of the card, then added a “timely” sentiment for the inside of the card.  If only I had duplicates, I could send this to several friends right nowtsk tsk tsk!

Honesly, I wish I had more of the Graphic 45 image so I could make a few more   Alas, a “timely” card sender … does not describe this stamper.    Hey … … honesty counts … right?!    😉

In the meantime, I’m delighted to have you visiting today!  Thanks for your inspiration, and hopefully, you’ll find a bit of inspiration here for your own ‘timely‘ creativity.

Oh, Bev… I so relate to what seems to be the inability to send birthday cards on time and often wonder what my problem is. I truly should only make belated cards as that seems to be my usual method of operation. sigh. Your card is absolutely lovely and I for one would be thrilled to receive such a beautiful card any time of year!
