No Peekin’!
Can you believe it? Half of November has already passed by! Is it just ‘me’? 2010 seems blowing right on by in those crisp breezes outside.
I was tempted to play with a new-to-me stamp … and now that I’ve inked it up, I’m thinking there’s a big possibility that I’ll “need” to use this one again soon. Do you know a peeker, a sneaker, a gifty snoopy person? This is for those people! (Ahem … we have one of ‘them’ right here in my very own family …. Hint: “She” started mastering that “art” of peekin’ at a very young age.)
For today, it’s a traditional top-fold card, in standard Christmas colors. (So much for imagination today, huh?!) I don’t often use white as the card base, but it seems to work with these papers. The image was stamped twice, allowing me to cut out & pop up the stocking/mouse for some fun dimension. I used some long-forgotten decorative scissors for one of the image layers, to mimic the edges of the image. And that extra “Just for You!” tag? I printed that, cut the strip, and used my corner rounder for the ends.
Did you guess “who” is our family sneaker-peeker? If she spots this … I could be in a wee bit of trouble … but hopefully not. haha This should certainly be included on a certain person’s gift under the tree. Here’s to a sweet week, everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by!
