Here’s My Heart

Snow  Greetings from snowy North Texas, and welcome to our second Outlines Rubber Stamps blog share!     Our challenge today is to create a Valentine utilizing one of the coolest new-to-me products … the Viva Decor Pearl Pens.  Let’s just say … I have a new favorite embellishment in these babies!   Dimensional, round-tops, and no shrinkage during dry time … oh just too easy!

I’ve designed this card to open from the right-side image flap, which is held closed atop the left front flap with thin magnets.    I chose to assemble the card competely before applying the Pearl Pen product to the colored image.  With the magnet closure, it stayed flat for an undisturbed 45 minutes to dry … and it was ready!    (Tex’s Tip:  I did set it in a room with the ceiling fan on just to keep the air circulating.  Whether or not this was truly necessary … I don’t know.  You see, I’m not always the perfectly patient “waiter” … so I simply tried to tip the time scales a bit in my favor.)     😉

Now since this is Monday, all of the Outlines designers are sharing some inspiration for you today.  Please feel welcome to check out these beautiful blogs for more great ideas:  Jeanne Streiff, Jenny Gropp, Lisa Silver, Robin Kirkpatrick, Sandy Hulsart, & Vicki Garrett.   We also welcome your thoughts & hope you find something to jump-start your own creativity along the way!

Thanks so much for your visit today!   As for me, I’m still savoring a wonderful weekend of stamping & shopping with a couple of very special stampy friends …  I might just need to share more about that tomorrow.  😉

Beautiful card! I love how gorgeous this turned out with the way you did the opening. The embossing folder really helped to highlight the pearls made with the Viva Decor pens. The ribbon really helped to balance the card. Fabulous job!
