Peeking in to Say Hello!
I’ve brought out two of my favorite newest items here in the studio today: a darling little mousie from Inky Antics, and some fabulous polka dotted ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, all to share a colorful, happy greeting for someone special!
I just adore this luscious polka dotted satin ribbon … it coordinates perfectly with my color scheme, and has a substantial body … very important for varied techniques with ribbons. For my ribbon folds, I used a wee bit of hand stitching, plus my beloved 1/4” Scor-Tape. {Tex’s Tip: Yes. I know that other brands are available. A long time ago I received a rolled tape “like Scor-Tape”. And so I thought for ribbon this time, why not? Now I know the answer. Well, the ribbon all popped up & off on my first version of this project. One of the “do-overs” on this project included the change to Scor-Tape. Thus, I’ve learned my personal lesson. This is simply my own personal result.}
I hope you enjoy this quick & happy project! Please check in again on Thursday for a sweet blog hop by the Inky Antics design team! Hope to see you then!
