Happiness is … … * TTC10

Welcome to a color challenge!   The Shinhan Touch Twin team is using the following Touch Twin markers for this week’s challenge:  PB183, PB185, PB77, + RP137.   We’ve been sponsored by Unity Stamps this month, and I truly do adore the set I’m using today.

All through my elementary school days, my girlfriends and I loved the swings.  Fortunately, we had several on our school playground.  Some of us always tried to “touch the sky” with our toes … to the chagrin of a few teachers on playground duty.   This “Happiness is …” stamp set takes me right back to the playground days.   Honestly, I’ll need to make a few of these cards, because those wonderful, life-long friends will each be taken right back to the same playground when they see this.

The image was so fun to color!  I used the tip-to-tip technique for the shading on her shorts and shirt, as well as the subtle edging on the cloud.   For the sky, I sponged Almost Amethyst ink after masking the image.

You’ll find complete details on playing along with our challenge on our Touch Twin Challenge blog.   When you play along and enter your own creation, you’ll have a chance to win a set of 12 Touch Twin markers!

I’ve inserted a color map and a photo of the markers I’ve used.   Just click on the images for a closer full view.   Thanks so much for sharing a few of your moments with me today!

Bev, your card looks gorgeous! I LOVE this image and how you turned it into a card (it’s so big, that stopped me from using mine so far). I especially love the pierced design.
    Hugs and smiles
