Is That the Catch? * Color Throwdown CTD183
It’s time for a brand new Color Throwdown! This week the fabulous Wanda Cullen is the hostess … and you’re going to adore her color challenge! Just take a look:
Upon my first glance of these soothing colors, I felt a sea breeze and a bit of a ‘beachy’ feeling. But have you ever started out with a loose idea at the stamping table, only to discover that your thoughts & stamps lead you in an entirely new direction? Well, I didn’t end up at the beach with this one, but I found “Murray” … and Murray wanted to spend a relaxing day just fishing.
Hmmmmm … It does seem that Murray’s day might have taken a different turn for him than he had planned. 😉
Murray stands just this side of the fishing hole where I’ve sponged in a setting with Crumb Cake ink, and added a few sprigs of grass from the Kittie Kits Master #1. After I created my own cloud template, I used Baja Breeze ink to sponge in the sky & clouds. Extra dimensional clouds are added from my TE cloud dies, and SU embossing folder. The line in Murray’s fishing pole is actually just a bit of embroidery floss, which also dares to dangle the sentiment. Poor Murray. Better luck next time!
